The need of the hour is to revive the spirit and values for which Mahamana founded the Banaras Hindu University for the present and coming generations on whom lies the onus of nation building. The emphasis in education would be on character building, patriotism and regard for India’s rich heritage and culture.

The mission intends to mobilize the talent and financial resources of the BHU Alumni for the all round development of their Alma Mater and Motherland. The Mission proposes to develop a roadmap – a detailed action plan for making India a powerful country in the world.
